Trade and tradition” is a proposal for experience tourism by the Museum of Rural Life which, promoted by the Cultural Heritage Agency of Catalonia, part of the Regional Government of Catalonia, under the brand name “The thrill of heritage”. The activity is offered in the town of L’Espluga de Francolí, located an hour away from Barcelona, and 30 minutes from the towns of Lleida, Tarragona (World Heritage Site) and the airports of Reus and Alguaire. It is a unique touristic product, specially aimed at those interested in the world of wine, of history, of ethnography and popular culture. It is the ideal complement for the clients of wine-tourism routes, given that it adds a “plus” to the conventional visits to wineries and wine tasting. The proposal has also been aimed at family outings, given that while the adults take part in wine tasting, the children can enjoy complementary activities.
